Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lawn Care Crew Member to oversee and coordinate landscaping projects. This leadership role involves managing a team responsible for maintaining residential and commercial lawns, gardens, and landscape features. The ideal candidate will possess strong horticultural knowledge, supervisory experience, and a passion for outdoor work. As a Crew Leader, you will ensure quality service delivery while fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of lawn care technicians during daily operations
- Plan and organize landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, planting, and garden maintenance
- Oversee irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering schedules
- Perform landscape maintenance activities such as pruning, fertilizing, and soil preparation
- Coordinate with clients to understand their landscape needs and provide professional recommendations
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Manage equipment usage, maintenance, and inventory to maximize efficiency
- Train new team members on best practices in gardening, horticulture, and landscape care
- Assist with construction-related tasks when necessary for landscape projects

- Previous experience in gardening and lawn maintenance with an attention to detail
- Skills with ground maintenance equipment and accepted practices
- Knowledge of Plant and shrub identification/ care
- Formal, informal education or training in Gardening/Horticulture.
- Valid G2 / G class “Ontario” license, clean drivers abstract and experience.

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
