Job Title: Wiring Assembler
Job Location: Calgary, AB
Schedule: Evening Shift (Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM)
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Wiring Assembler to support the assembly of wire harnesses, cables, and electrical components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What's the Job?
- Assemble wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electrical components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, splicing, routing, and terminating tasks.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct pull tests, continuity checks, and visual inspections to ensure product quality.
- Identify and report defects, non-conformances, or issues to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Follow IPC standards, safety protocols, and company procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting wiring and assembly challenges.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S principles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and meet daily production targets.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in electrical assembly, wiring, cable assembly, or manufacturing is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience with crimping, soldering, wire stripping, and cable termination is preferred.
- Familiarity with IPC standards is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
