About the Opportunity
A growing manufacturing operation is undergoing a major transformation and is seeking a hands‑on, forward‑thinking Controller to elevate its finance function. What You Will Do
- Lead the full month‑end close process, including financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Deliver timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages
- Oversee day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Build and strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and documentation
- Manage cash flow planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Partner closely with operations, production, and commercial teams to provide financial insights
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements across the finance function
- Provide costing, margin, and profitability analysis for products, projects, and new initiatives
- Support the development of enhanced reporting tools (Excel, Power BI)
What You BringMust‑Haves
- Manufacturing accounting experience, including job costing and inventory processes
- Advanced QuickBooks Online capability, including troubleshooting, correcting user errors, and working within a low‑control environment
- Strong change‑management communication and diplomacy — able to influence, guide, and build trust during periods of transition
- 5–7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or business control
- Strong Excel skills and comfort operating in a hybrid system environment
- Experience supporting audits and building internal controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation (completed or in progress) preferred
- Ability to work onsite regularly and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams
Nice‑to‑Haves
- Experience in post‑acquisition or integration environments
- Exposure to inventory management systems and job costing tools
- Power BI experience
- Background in small‑to‑mid‑sized manufacturing operations

Pay: $100,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
