Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Barn Worker to join our farm team.
Work days are weekends (required) plus up to 3 weekdays (we are flexible on which dayd and how many).
This role involves hands-on work in maintaining the barn and surrounding farm areas, supporting daily operations, and ensuring the well-being of livestock. Must have prior experience with horses. A familiarity with small ruminants is a bonus.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for farm life. This is a full-time position offering consistent employment and opportunities for skill development.
Duties
- Assist with feeding, watering, and caring for livestock in the barn
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barn and equipment
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors, feed dispensers, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting tasks related to feed bags, hay bales, and supplies
- Repair or troubleshoot basic mechanical issues with farm machinery when needed
- Assist with cleaning stalls, pens, and surrounding areas to ensure a healthy environment for animals
- Support pasture management including fencing repairs and pasture rotation
- Participate in daily farm routines and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with farm machinery and mechanical systems is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the day
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled shifts

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
