Role and responsibilities:
· Sort and log delivery orders in tracking sheet, confirm delivery scheduled in Descartes software.
· Generate pick tickets for each zone.
· Send other zones their pick tickets, with loading instructions, a minimum of 1 day prior to delivery date.
· Submit weekly Montreal transfer request
· Received and properly allocate Montreal transfer once physically received
· Provide transport quotes for outbound 3rd Party deliveries, (Canada & U.S.)
· Maintain a log of transport quotes provided
· Arrange transport and prepare all required shipping documentation, (custom papers, BOLs)
· Provide warehouse operators with sales order and transfer pick tickets to ensure all shipments are picked in a timely manner.
· Confirm, log, and file return RMAs, provide direction to warehouse on where to return stock.
· Confirm and invoice orders that have been picked for delivery and are ready to load.
· Validate invoices for transports ensuring accuracy in charges
· Ensure 3rd party drivers use the driver portal to track loading times
· Resolving driver delivery problems, truck break downs and equipment failure issues, informing Sales Reps of delivery issues and offer alternative solutions
Requirements:
· High school diploma
· 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
· Must have strong communication skills
· Must be able to work flexible hours as directed by the business needs
