Best Personnel Inc. is currently accepting applications for experienced Warehouse Workers to join our workforce for upcoming client assignments in cold storage facilities.
We are an employment agency that provides workers to a variety of warehouse, distribution, and industrial sites across the Lower Mainland. Assignments may vary by duration, schedule, client needs, and worker availability.
What this role involves
- Efficiently handling, loading, and unloading products within a temperature-controlled warehouse environment
- Moving inventory manually or with warehouse equipment as required
- Preparing, sorting, and staging orders for shipment and distribution
- Receiving incoming goods and verifying quantities against shipping documents
- Maintaining accurate inventory organization and storage practices
- Performing repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy products
- Keeping work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Following all workplace safety, food safety, and cold storage procedures
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience, preferably in a cold storage or refrigerated environment
- Ability to lift and move heavy products throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments for extended periods
- Fluent in English with strong verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment is considered an asset
Required gear
- CSA-approved steel-toed work boots
- Warm work clothing suitable for cold storage environments
- Safety vest
