Overview
We are seeking a Server to join our team at Korean Bistro & Bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and experience working in fast-paced restaurant / bar environments. This role offers an opportunity to engage with guests, create a welcoming atmosphere, and showcase your expertise in food and drink preparation. Prior experience with POS system is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. Smart server is a must. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining high standards of professionalism and efficiency.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an enjoyable experience
- Use POS systems like Micros POS to process orders, payments, and cash handling accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices
- Handle cash transactions, operate cash registers, and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes
- Assist in serving food when necessary, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Fluent in Korean and English
- Previous experience in restaurant / bar industry preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Familiarity with POS system
- Smart Server
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
