Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Student Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyewear while providing exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting eyewear that suits their style and vision needs
- Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit of eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and frames
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and contact lenses
- Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses
- Utilize optical equipment to take necessary measurements
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, particularly in optical or retail settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to optometry
- Familiarity with optical laboratory procedures
- Experience with retail management software
