Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our client's manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and mechanical systems, with the ability to operate a range of tools and machinery to ensure high-quality welds and precise fabrication. The Welder will play a vital part in supporting construction, ductwork, and manufacturing projects across diverse industries.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal materials following detailed blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine specifications and welding requirements
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to safety protocols during welding and fabrication activities
- Inspect finished welds for quality assurance using basic math skills and inspection tools such as calipers
Experience
- Experience in MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, and blueprint reading within manufacturing environments
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments like calipers, and basic math skills for precision work
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding and fabrication processes is essential
