Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as an Apprentice Carpenter/Carpenter Helper and kickstart your career in the skilled trades! Responsibilities
- Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support project execution
- Support the installation of detailed Framing, forming, and finishing work with guidance from senior carpenters
- Help with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry tasks, and other foundational work as needed
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform various carpentry tasks including woodworking and assembly
- Participate in renovation projects, siding installation, and general construction painting activities
- Support heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements
- Basic understanding of construction tools and safety procedures; prior handyman or construction experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn blueprint reading, schematics interpretation,
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions carefully
- Prior experience or familiarity with carpentry or woodworking is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
