Small, luxury resort in Manitoba seeking a commercial kitchen assistant familiar working in a fine-dining environment. The kitchen assistant will be responsible for washing dishes, sweeping and mopping, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the kitchen area. At times, the kitchen assistant may also be required to assist the chef and sous chef with entry level food preparation. Sanitation and cleanliness protocol must be strictly followed adhering to all Provincial, OH&S and food safety regulation.
Excellent customer service skills and experience in a professional kitchen are required. The ideal candidate will have some food-service experience in a hotel, resort or lodge environment.
Must have good communication skills, strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills.
Salary based on experience.
