Overview
Daytech Limited is currently seeking an experienced Welder to join our growing team in Etobicoke, Ontario.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Production Team reporting to the production supervisor, you will be responsible for taking up a variety of supporting tasks in a safe and efficient manner with a focus on producing a finished product of superior quality.
Good communication and collaboration with co-workers to ensure production and warehouse procedures are carried out.
Duties:
· Completion of secondary school is required
· Minimum 2 years of experience working in metal finishing is required
·MIG Welding and/or fabrication of metal components including extruded transit shelter frames, smaller components etc. according to shop documents, work order and drawings
· Grinding, sanding, and finishing of metal components when required based on specifications.
· Quality control check on finished components made
· Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop/working area.
· Able to use various measuring tools (tape measure, vernier etc.)
· Ensuring proper safety measures while working, such as wearing personal protective equipment for face and body.
· Other duties as required by the production supervisor
· Experience with manual plasma cutter, crane usage an asset
· Expected hours: 40.0 per week, with overtime hours available

Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves, Welding helmet

Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour
