We are looking for a dedicated, skilled line and prep cook to join our dynamic team, primarily for afternoon/evening shifts. This position is essential for maintaining our high standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen efficiency. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, executing menu items, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation to ensure a seamless, exceptional dining experience for our guests.
*Responsibilities:*
Food Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, dice, slice, and grate vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients according to established recipes and standards.- Cooking: Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistent quality, proper portioning, and appealing presentation.
- Station Management: Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary supplies before service and ensure they are kept clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Sanitation & Food Safety: Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing food.
- Inventory & Stocking: Monitor inventory levels, assist with receiving and stocking deliveries, and communicate any shortages to management.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff, including chefs and other cooks, to ensure smooth and efficient operations during busy service periods.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food items are fresh, properly labeled, and stored correctly by the kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities
*Experience:*
Previous experience in a kitchen line cook or prep position- Strong background in food preparation and restaurant operations
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour + gratuities
Expected hours: 35-40 per week

Our kitchen is currently open the following hours:
Monday & Tuesday 8a-6:30p
Wednesday 8a-8:30p
Thursday, Friday & Saturday 8a-9:30p
Sunday 9-6
Shifts will be scheduled 30 minutes before and after for opening and closing duties
Evening & Weekend availability is required
Some Holidays required
