Ruby Rock Group is hiring an experienced Construction Surveyor for the 2026 construction season.
We are looking for a motivated individual with civil construction experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting grading, paving, underground, and concrete operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform construction layout and staking
- Read and interpret construction drawings and grade sheets
- Operate GPS survey equipment, and laser levels
- Verify grades and elevations
- Work closely with foremen and site crews
- Maintain accurate survey records and measurements
Qualifications
- Previous civil construction surveying experience required
- Experience with GPS and machine control systems
- Ability to work long hours and weekends during peak season
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence required
