Responsibilities and tasks related to the job are :
- Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel piping systems to sanitary food-grade standards (e.g., 3-A, FDA, USDA), ensuring compliance through regular quality checks and verification procedures;
- Participate in the fabrication, assembly, and on-site installation of piping systems, fittings, and components at customer facilities, ensuring accuracy and conformity to specifications;
- Read, interpret, and validate blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan, coordinate, and verify proper project execution;
- Conduct pressure testing, inspections, and troubleshooting activities to ensure system integrity, performance, and compliance;
- Ensure and enforce a clean and safe work environment in accordance with food safety and sanitation regulations, including regular inspections and compliance checks;
- Collaborate with customers, project managers, and team members while verifying work quality and progress to meet project deadlines and standards;
- Perform and validate preventive maintenance and repairs on existing sanitary piping systems, ensuring reliability and performance;
- Monitor, inspect, and verify welding quality and installation work to ensure adherence to industry standards and client requirements;
- Perform any other related tasks as required.
Requirements :
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of welding
- Education requirement: Welding training is an asset
- Language requirement: English
- Starting date: ASAP
