Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and meal service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food safety, food handling, and supporting the overall food service operations to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities
- Mainly wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for various menu items.
- Support the cooking team by preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen workstations, including counters, sinks, and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management by notifying supervisors of supplies needed for meal preparation.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for staff and guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or food industry setting will be beneficial.
