I am looking for an Assistant Controller for a food company in Laval.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Managing the full accounts receivable cycle and following up with customers on collections.
- Processing accounts payable and entering invoices.
- Performing bank reconciliations, making deposits, and tracking corporate credit cards.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements and government reports.
- Conducting various accounting analyses and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
- Tracking and reconciling inventory with the accounting system.
- Create and maintain customer, vendor, and product records in the system.
- Participate in inventory counts and internal controls.
- Collaborate on improving accounting processes and implementing new systems.
- Supervise the accounting team
- Perform any other related tasks
Your Profile:
- CPA designation (required)
- Experience in the manufacturing sector
- Experience in the food industry
- Bilingual in French and English to communicate with clients and suppliers in other countries
- Must have a vehicle to travel to various sites in Laval
