Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of ingredients and equipment
- Assist with cleaning and organizing kitchen stations before, during, and after shifts
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Serve food to guests promptly while ensuring excellent customer service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet service times during busy hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed
- Basic understanding of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes
- Prior experience in the food industry, including serving or kitchen experience, is a plus but not required
