This job is two roles 3-4 days as Animal Control Officer (ACO) and the other 1-2 days as an animal care attendant. (ACA)
As an ACO you will:
- Monitor our jurisdiction for any animals on the loose
- Attend to wildlife calls or animals in distress
- Monitor licensing program for our jurisdiction
- Needs to understand and learn By-Law 73-2021
** A clean driving record is required.
As an ACA you will:
- Clean kennels/cages for animals
- Process feeding in a timely manner
- Care for animals
Requirements:
- At least a high school diploma
- Must be available for on calls/holidays/weekends
Job Type: Part-time
