Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and supplies on-site
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up equipment
- Support tradespeople by holding or passing tools, materials, and equipment as needed
- Perform basic site maintenance tasks such as sweeping, trash removal,
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment
- Help with minor repairs or adjustments under supervision to ensure smooth workflow
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site at all times
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a construction environment
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site (if applicable)
- Prior experience in general labour or construction is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
