We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and basic cooking tasks
- Support the cooking process by following recipes and kitchen procedures
- Serve food to customers or staff in a timely and professional manner
- Handle food safely, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and hygiene practices
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience in serving and food preparation within a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes
- Strong understanding of food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Previous kitchen or food industry experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
Pay: $16.20-$20.00 per hour
