Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Shift Leaders to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring food preparation and safety standards are met. This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to create a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and dining spaces.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food products served.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
- Strong time management abilities to efficiently complete tasks during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
