About the Role
We're looking for a Lead Graphic Designer to own the visual identity of our brands and elevate the quality and consistency for all our experience offerings. You'll be the lead creative voice at The MRG Group, equal parts hands-on maker and design leader across print, digital, web, social, and environmental design.
You'll build and maintain brand systems, and mentor junior designers while still rolling up your to support our operation teams. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, moves quickly without sacrificing craft, and is excited to design at the intersection of music, hospitality, and live culture.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of brand and campaign creative across MRG's portfolio of concerts, festivals, venues, ticketing, hospitality, travel, and media.

Own and evolve brand guidelines, design systems, and asset libraries to ensure consistency across every touchpoint.

Design across formats: event posters and OOH, social and digital ads, web pages, email, signage and environmental graphics, merch, menus, decks, and print collateral.

Build, launch, and maintain marketing websites and landing pages in Webflow and WordPress, partnering with developers and marketing on UX, layout, and performance.

Translate marketing and event briefs into clear creative concepts, present rationale to stakeholders, and manage feedback through to final delivery.

Prepare and hand off production-ready files for print and digital vendors, ensuring specs, color, and quality are correct.

Manage timelines and prioritize across multiple concurrent campaigns in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Mentor and provide art direction to junior designers and external contractors/freelancers; review work to uphold the creative standard.

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, social, partnerships, talent, and venue teams to bring campaigns to life end-to-end.

Champion brand integrity while bringing fresh ideas, trends, and craft to keep our creative best-in-class.
Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of professional graphic design experience

Expert command of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign at a minimum; After Effects and Premiere Pro a strong plus.

Hands-on experience designing and building/maintaining sites in Webflow and WordPress (familiarity with page builders such as Elementor an asset).

Proficiency in Figma for UI design, prototyping, and collaborative handoff.

Strong working knowledge of Canva for templating and enabling non-designers across teams.

A portfolio that demonstrates range and polish across print, digital, web, and brand/campaign work.

Deep understanding of layout, typography, color, hierarchy, and design systems.

Solid grasp of print production and pre-press, plus web/digital fundamentals (responsive design, basic HTML/CSS literacy, web-optimized assets).

Excellent project- and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines without dropping quality.

Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable defending creative decisions to stakeholders.
Nice to Have

Email design experience in platforms such as braze

Motion graphics, short-form video, and animation skills for social.

Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and how to use them responsibly in a professional workflow.

Experience designing for the music, entertainment, hospitality, events, or travel industries.

Photography, illustration, or merch/apparel design capabilities.

Experience managing digital asset management (DAM) systems and brand libraries.
