Le Petit Monde Préscolaire is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable Part-Time Educational Assistant to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year.
Location: North Battleford, SK
Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM Start Date: Beginning of the 2026–2027 school year (September 2026)
About Le Petit Monde Préscolaire
Le Petit Monde Préscolaire is a Catholic, play-based preschool that introduces children ages 3–5 to the French language in a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment. We believe children learn best through exploration, creativity, and meaningful relationships.
About the Role
Working alongside our classroom teacher, the Educational Assistant will help support children’s learning, play, and social-emotional development while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and is passionate about helping them thrive.
Responsibilities
- Support the classroom teacher with daily activities, routines, and transitions.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support when needed.
- Help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment.
- Encourage positive social interactions and emotional development.
- Assist with classroom organization, preparation, and clean-up.
- Follow all preschool policies, procedures, and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (required prior to employment).
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification is considered an asset but is not required.
- French language skills are an asset but are not required.
- Experience working with young children is considered an asset.
- A warm, patient, dependable, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining professionalism with children and families.

- Wage will be based on experience and qualifications.
