Responsibilities
· Diagnose and repair GM vehicles accurately and efficiently
· Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs
· Complete repair orders with accurate documentation
· Perform quality control inspections to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time
· Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, the Parts Department, Warranty Administration, Tower Operator, Shop Foreman, and Service Manager
· Identify additional maintenance or repair recommendations when appropriate
· Maintain current GM technical knowledge through ongoing GM factory training
· Follow all dealership safety and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
· Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician Licence
· Valid Class G Driver’s Licence
· Minimum two years of licensed technician experience preferred
· GM dealership experience is considered a strong asset
· Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
· Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Exciting Growth Opportunity
As part of our move into our brand-new dealership on November 1st, we will also be launching our Commercial Truck Department.
We are interested in speaking with technicians who currently hold both 310S and 310T licences, or those with a 310T Truck and Coach Technician Licence, who are interested in helping us build this exciting new division from the ground up.
Our Commercial Truck Department will officially launch in November. Compensation and the pay structure for 310T positions are currently being finalized and will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process.
