Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have previous restaurant experience, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Squirrel POS.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using cashiering skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold health regulations.
- Assist with setting up tables, refilling supplies, and preparing garnishes as needed.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills to ensure timely service.
- Support team members during busy periods to maintain a smooth flow of service.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Squirrel POS is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and cash handling tasks.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of the food service industry standards and hospitality principles.
