Position Title: Shelter Housing Support Worker
Department: Properties, Homes & Living Supports
Hours: Full-Time 1-year term position
Hourly wage: $26/hr plus $2 premium after midnight
Competition close date: June 23rd, 2026
The Shelter Overnight Worker supports operation, daily tasks and processes of the VNFC Shelter, which provides temporary shelter for unhoused community. This position requires an unrestricted class 4 valid Driver's License and clean driver's abstract.
Our team includes people of all Indigenous identities; some who are close to their communities and others who are on a path to learn more about their heritage. In recognition of the importance of a lived understanding of Indigenous communities, history, values and culture, preference is given to Indigenous applicants.
