Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook and Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen efficiency, and ensuring exceptional food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
- Passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds
