Position Summary:
Sandstone Recovery Center is a community based inpatient recovery centre for eating disorder and mental health for youths and young adults ages 12 - 24 years old. The primary function of the support staff is to ensure that Sandstone Recovery Center operates in a manner that is consistent with the goals and objectives of the treatment program during those periods when the counselling and administrative staff are not available or on duty.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience and Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent diploma.

Education and training in the field of Eating Disorders, Addictions and Mental Health preferred but not mandatory.

Eating disorder experience preferred but not mandatory (training will be given).

Must be able to read and write and communicate verbally and in writing.

Must be able to understand and follow directions.

Must have good hearing and eyesight.

Valid First Aid/CPR Level C.

Clear Criminal Records Check & Vulnerable Sector Search.

Valid proof of identity – Government issued photo identification.

Reported misuse or abuse of mood-altering chemicals for two years prior to application would disqualify an applicant for a period of one year from the date of application.
