A retail department manager oversees the daily operations, staffing and profiability of a specific department in our store. Key responsibilities include hiring and training employees, managing inventory, merchandising, resolving customer issues, and driving the department to meet sales targets
Key Responsibilities-
Staff Leadership: Recruit, schedule, and train department associates. Provide ongoing performance feedback and motivate the team to achieve daily/weekly sales goals.

InventoryMerchandising: Ensure product displays adhere to company visual standards. Conduct regular audits and manage corporate and in-store price changes and promotional effeciencies.

Customer Experience: Ensure the team delivers exceptional service to all customers that enter the store. Serve as an escalation point to resolve complex customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.

Operational Excellence: Maintain department safety and compliance standards, review performance metrics, and minimize shrink through proper inventory control.
QualificationsSkills-
Experience: 1+ years of proven retail sales, merchandising, or supervisory experience.

Leadership: Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

Business Acumen: Understanding of retail analytics, Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, and basic budgeting principles.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift or move heavy merchandise.
PS: Priority will be given to applicants with previous experience in retail management environment.
