As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Drywall Estimator to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
The Drywall Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating drywall material, preparing detailed proposals, and managing drywall projects from inception to completion. This role requires an eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating :
-Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
-Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather necessary information
-Prepare and submit detailed proposals and tenders in a timely manner
-Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
-Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and team members to ensure clear communication and project expectations
-Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 1 year experience in estimating in the construction industry but we are willing to look at a student recently graduated from college in the construction/project management field
-Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications
-Strong understanding of drywall techniques, materials, and industry standards
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Microsoft Office 365
-Experience with PlanSwift Estimating Software
