Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in using hand tools and power tools. This role involves working on a variety of residential construction projects and requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Perform installation tasks including cabinetry, panels, hardware and accessories
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role is an asset.
- Familiarity with kitchen and bathroom renovations.
- Proficient in using basic power tools and saws.
- Strong knowledge of cabinet installation processes is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
