Grand Touring Automobiles Oakville is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our Service Department. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a range of luxury and performance vehicles while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, takes pride in precision workmanship, and thrives in a professional, team-oriented luxury dealership environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, brakes, suspension, and inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify required repairs
- Accurately document all work performed on repair orders
- Work collaboratively with Service Advisors and Parts Department to ensure efficient workflow
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and dealership quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Stay current with evolving automotive technologies, including EV and hybrid systems
- Road test vehicles as required to verify repairs and performance
- Follow all health, safety, and dealership procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician License (required)
- Previous dealership or luxury automotive service experience is considered an asset
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience with modern diagnostic tools and software
- EV and hybrid vehicle experience is an asset
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team
- Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and professional attitude
