Our Opportunity
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for customers, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience by answering phones, directing calls, and providing administrative support to our team. This entry level position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable using a computer, and can manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, and direct calls to the appropriate team member.
- Greet customers and visitors, providing a welcoming first impression.
- Enter and maintain customer information accurately in company software.
- Enter purchase orders (POs) and other data with a high level of accuracy.
- Collect and document information required for scheduling customer appointments.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and organizing documents.
- Monitor and distribute incoming emails and other correspondence as needed.
- Help keep the reception area and shared office spaces tidy and professional.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Friendly, professional, and customer focused attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, One Drive).
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable answering phones and interacting with clients professionally.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous customer service or office experience is an asset but not required.
Hours:
Monday to Friday – 8:00 am – 4:30 pm / 40 hours week
