At Global Pet Foods, we're more than a pet store - we're a community of people passionate about helping pets live happier, healthier lives. We're currently looking for a part-time Sales Associate to join our team.
We're seeking someone who loves working with people just as much as they love working with pets. The ideal candidate is friendly, energetic, dependable, and takes initiative without waiting to be asked. If you enjoy staying busy, helping customers, and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
What We're Looking For:
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is required
- Availability for 3–4 weekends per month
- A positive, customer-focused attitude
- Self-starter who takes initiative and looks for ways to help
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Retail or customer service experience is an asset
- Pet ownership or pet industry experience is an asset, but not required
- Reliable transportation is required
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service to every pet parent who walks through our doors
- Greeting customers and making meaningful recommendations based on their pets' needs
- Building product knowledge through ongoing training and education
- Opening and/or closing the store as scheduled
- Receiving, stocking, and merchandising products throughout the store
- Keeping shelves full, displays organized, and the store looking its best
- Assisting with online order fulfillment and other operational tasks as needed
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment
- Taking ownership of tasks and contributing wherever support is needed

- Wage: $17.60–$21.00 per hour, based on experience, knowledge, and demonstrated customer service skills. Previous retail, customer service, pet specialty, or leadership experience may be considered when determining starting wage.
Passion for animals is a must. Passion for helping people is equally important.
