We are currently expanding our PLAN Canada fundraising campaigns and are looking for ambitious Team Leads who are passionate about leadership, people development, and making a difference.
This position starts as a Commission-Only Independent Contractor role with a clear opportunity to transition into a Salary + Commission leadership position based on performance, team growth, and business needs.
About the Role
As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, and leading a team of fundraising representatives while also participating in field fundraising activities.
Your success will be measured by your ability to build a high-performing team, maintain quality standards, and achieve campaign goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard new fundraising representatives
- Train and mentor team members on fundraising techniques and campaign messaging
- Lead daily field operations and provide ongoing coaching
- Conduct quality assurance and performance reviews
- Inspire and motivate your team to achieve campaign goals
- Generate personal fundraising results while leading by example
- Submit operational reports and communicate regularly with management
What You'll Be Promoting
You will represent PLAN Canada, one of Canada's leading international development organizations, helping supporters make a lasting impact on the lives of children, families, and communities around the world.
Your team will engage with members of the public, educate them about PLAN Canada's mission, and invite them to become monthly donors supporting life-changing programs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in direct sales, fundraising, canvassing, events, or face-to-face marketing
- Leadership or team management experience preferred
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Positive attitude and ability to motivate others
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow
- Reliable transportation is considered an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Compensation
Phase 1 – Independent Contractor
- Commission-only compensation
- Personal fundraising commissions
- Team override commissions
- Leadership incentives

Phase 2 – Career Advancement
Top-performing Team Leads who consistently demonstrate leadership and build successful teams may be offered a Salary + Commission compensation package, along with expanded leadership responsibilities and opportunities for advancement within TechSid Marketing.
Transition to a salaried role is based on performance, operational requirements, and available leadership opportunities.
