Job Description:
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with customer service experience and/or an enthusiasm for customer service experience, to talk about and sample Farmery non-alcoholic products such as mocktails, craft sodas, iced teas, and energy drinks, as well as Farmery alcoholic products to customers at various locations, such as grocery stores, liquor stores, and other stores. This is an ideal job for the individual who enjoys interacting with the public and customers and serve as an ambassador for a local, craft brand.
Qualities/Skills/Job Requirements:
- must be 18+
- must have Smart Choices card/ability to get one
- must have/ability to get one Food Handler Certification if required
- must have conversational English
- passion for craft beer, mocktails, sodas, and in general local MB and CDN products
- sample & talk about beer and other non-alcoholic beverages to customers in various stores
- perform tasks with excellent customer service; assist with customers and answer customer questions in a polite and friendly manner
- be self-directed; have the ability to ask questions when needed with the goal of knowing what tasks are to be done with little oversight
- be able to stand/walk around/light physical activity for extended periods of time
- be able to lift/carry up to 40-50 lbs
- be able to work some afternoons to early evenings & weekends
- a driver's license is highly recommended to required
- retail store clerk experience with POS and customer service experience is highly recommended
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 16 per week
