Grande Prairie is currently accepting applications for a Recreation Therapist to join our Long-Term Care Facility.
This is a full-time permanent position but a flexible work schedule can be considered for the successful candidate.
This role will take the lead in the development, administration, and delivery of a wide variety of activity programs; ensuring that the physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, and emotional needs of our wonderful senior residents are met.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a diploma or degree in Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Services
- Two years of recent experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Completion of CPR and First Aid -Therapeutic Recreation Membership (ATRA/CTRA - optional)
