Work Location: Onsite (Milton, ON)
Hours: 2:15pm - 11:30pm (flexibility as needed), Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed
Hourly Rate: $22.84
What You'll Be Doing:
- Execute daily production plans to meet safety, quality, uptime, and waste targets.
- Coordinate materials and team members with Shift Leader to meet production start times.
- Support teamwork and alignment cross-functionally with Processing, QA, Maintenance, and Production teams.
- Follow company policies and safety standards.
- Set up and operate processing lines safely and efficiently.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with HACCP, GMP, and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot process deviations and support equipment efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to team members and temporary staff.
- Support cross department coordination to maintain smooth material flow.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and OHSA requirements.
- Familiarity with GFSI systems (BRC preferred).
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Frozen bakery or dessert manufacturing experience.
- Lean / Continuous Improvement training.
- Experience with industrial ovens and baking processes.
- Knowledge of allergen control procedures.
