Job Overview
We are seeking friendly and attentive Customer Service/Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Square POS and process transactions with cash handling proficiency
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Assist in food preparation and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
- Manage guest inquiries, provide excellent guest services, and address any concerns promptly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth service flow
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Square, and cash handling skills
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math for billing and cash transactions accurately
- Experience with food industry standards including serving, upselling, and guest services
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation is a plus
- Effective communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and hospitality standard
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
