About the Role:
We are looking for hardworking and reliable General Labourers to join our growing team in the utility construction and telecommunications industry. This position involves physically demanding outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions, assisting with underground infrastructure installations and other related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist crews with trenching, conduit installation, cable handling, and restoration work
- Operate basic tools and equipment (jackhammers, compactors, etc.)
- Load and unload materials and tools at job sites
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and report hazards or incidents promptly
- Support drill, hydrovac, or civil crews as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in utility construction or telecommunications (1+ year preferred)
- Comfortable with physically demanding, outdoor work
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract (Class 5 minimum)
- CSTS, First Aid, or Ground Disturbance training considered an asset
- Ability to work in a team and follow direction with minimal supervision
