Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House is a growing breakfast/lunch chain that is looking for Host/Hostess as we continue to expand and grow.
We are hiring for the Brockville location.

Hostess Responsibilities
- Greeting and Seating: Warmly welcoming guests upon arrival, Escorting them to tables, and providing menus.
- Reservation Management: Managing phone and online reservations, maintaining a detailed seating chart, and optimizing table turnover.
- Waitlist Coordination: Providing accurate wait time estimates to walk-in guests and managing the waiting area.
- Service Coordination: Communicating with servers about seating, notifying the kitchen of large parties or special requests, and sometimes introducing the server to the table.
- Guest Experience & Professionalism: Handling initial customer complaints, accommodating special requests, and ensuring a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintenance & Support: Keeping the entrance and host stand clean and organized, assisting with cleaning/resetting tables during busy periods, and assisting with to-go orders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with reservation software (e.g., OpenTable) is often preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage table rotation and flow.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60 per hour
