Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and efficient individual to operate our busy concession shop. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and cashiering, with a strong focus on food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Operate POS systems and order processing
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Ensure all food handling complies with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession area throughout the shift
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks
- Excellent time management skills to ensure smooth operation during busy times
- Kitchen or food industry experience is a plus; willingness to learn is essential
