We are seeking 7 energetic and reliable Helpers / Packers / Boxers with experience working in a Bakery located in Richmond Hill.
In this role, you will work in high-volume production lines to safely package, box, and prepare our premium artisan cakes for shipment. This is a highly physical, repetitive position operating within a temperature-controlled, cold-storage manufacturing facility.
Job Type - Full-Time
Major Responsibilities:
- Packaging & Boxing: Efficiently place finished cakes into plastic containers, secure lids, assemble cardboard shipping boxes, and pack items securely.
- Line Support: Supply the assembly line with raw packaging materials, boards, bands, and labels to maintain uninterrupted production.
- Quality Inspection: Visually inspect cakes, boxes, and labels for defects, ensuring everything meets strict presentation standards before shipping.
- Labeling & Sorting: Apply correct product labels, batch codes, and nutritional information stickers onto boxes, then stack packed cases onto pallets.
- Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workstation by removing waste, washing plastic trays, and strictly adhering to food safety (HACCP) regulations.
- Steel toe boots, CSA approved, Above the ankle, oilproof is mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift).
- Strength: Capability to safely lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 23 kg (50 Ibs) repeatedly.
- Environment Adaptability: Comfortable working in cold conditions, including refrigerated production zones and freezer storage areas.
- Pace: Proven ability to thrive in a high-speed, repetitive conveyor belt assembly line environment.
- Communication: Functional English language skills to understand verbal instructions and safety signage.
- Experience: Previous experience in Bakery, general labour, warehouse packing, or food manufacturing is a strong asset.

Shift Timing:
- Morning Shift - Starting at either 5AM or 7AM. Ending at either 2PM or 4PM
- Afternoon Shift - Starting at either 2PM or 4PM. Ending at either 11PM or 1AM

Richmond Hill (Must be able to commute and reach work on time)
