Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning tasks efficiently across various areas, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment. This role is essential in supporting the overall maintenance and presentation of our premises, contributing to a positive experience for clients and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality cleaning duties in commercial settings.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and attention to detail.
- Follow company safety and cleaning protocols.
- As you gain experience, take on leadership roles, including training new staff and ensuring quality standards.
- Will also be routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards
- Maintain the cleanliness of commercial spaces, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support the upkeep of the building infrastructure
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper in designated areas
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management for prompt resolution
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating cleaning equipment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle (mileage and gas reimbursed).
- Minimum education: Grade 12.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
