Part-Time Evening School Cleaner
Location: Bowmanville, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:00 PM –10:00 PM

Generations Cleaning is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Evening Cleaner to join our team at a school in Bowmanville.
This is an after-hours cleaning position, allowing you to work in a quiet environment once students and staff have left for the day. If you take pride in your work and enjoy working independently, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain classrooms, music rooms, offices, the front office, staff room, gymnasium, hallways, common areas, entrance/vestibule areas, stairwells, and four portable classrooms.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop hard floors, and auto-scrub gym floors where applicable.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces including desks, doors, door handles, light switches, phones, railings, drinking fountains, bottle filling stations, and other frequently touched areas.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize washrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, countertops, mirrors, partitions, dispensers, and floors.
- Spot clean walls, doors, and other surfaces to remove visible marks and spills.
- Empty garbage and recycling, replacing liners as required, and maintain all assigned areas in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
- Report maintenance concerns or cleaning deficiencies to management.
- Follow all company cleaning procedures and health & safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation to and from Bowmanville.
- Must be able to successfully pass a Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening may be required).
