Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, with a strong ability to create high-quality beverages while ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
- Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
- Uphold food handling practices to ensure the safety and quality of all products served.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Experience
- Experience as a Barista or in the food industry is required.
- Food Handers Certificate is Required.
- Smart Serve is Required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
