Art-Tek Construction is looking for reliable painters and painter helpers to join our team for residential and commercial painting projects in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We are a professional painting company with over 20 years of experience, specializing in interior painting, exterior painting, commercial repaints, residential projects, fence and deck staining, surface preparation, and pressure washing.
We are looking for motivated workers who take pride in quality workmanship, show up on time, and can work well as part of a team.
Requirements
A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are required. Applicants must also have their own basic painting tools and materials, such as brushes, rollers, trays, poles, whites/painting clothes, and basic prep tools.
Painting experience is preferred, but we may consider the right person with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
The role may include preparing surfaces, sanding, caulking, patching, masking, priming, rolling, brushing, spraying assistance, staining, cleaning work areas, and helping complete projects professionally and efficiently.
You must be able to follow instructions, work safely, keep a clean job site, and communicate respectfully with clients and team members.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, physically fit, and comfortable working on different types of painting projects. Experience with residential or commercial painting, ladders, exterior work, spraying, staining, or drywall repair is an asset.
Assets
WHMIS, CSTS, Fall Protection, First Aid, lift training, or previous construction experience are considered assets but are not mandatory.
