Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory levels are maintained
- Adhere to sanitation standards and assist in cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols is advantageous
- Familiarity with serving, meal preparation, and food handling practices within the food industry or kitchen environment is desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong teamwork skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a positive work environment
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
