- Leadership (40% of time):
- Support onboarding and shadowing for new Caregivers
- Conduct in-home First Visits to ensure quality standards
- Mentor caregivers in the field and provide on-the-spot coaching
- Act as a go-to resource for PSW peers
- Help monitor and maintain care quality, safety and consistency
- Provide feedback to the office team on scheduling, client fit, and training needs
- Collaborate with the Care Designer and Scheduler on urgent and complex care requests
- Caregiving (60% of time):
- Assist clients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) including personal care
- Provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, mobility support
- Execute the Care Plan as outlined by the Care Designer
- Document care activities and observations accurately
- Always prioritize safety, dignity, and a positive client experience
- 5+ years of Canadian caregiving experience
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Valid G-class driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Willing to travel across Mississauga
- Available for a minimum of 15 hours per week including weekends or evenings
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
- Up-to-date TB test
- Minimum of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations
